The best education possible is what we all want, but money makes us settle. "A Heavenly College on an Earthly Budget: Double Your Financial Aid - Double Your Degree's Value" is a guide to those who want to get into college but don't have the wallets to back up their desires. A straight and honest guide for potential college students who want to stretch their dollars and credentials as far as they will go while remaining realistic, "A Heavenly College on an Earthly Budget" is the down to earth guide that students need.

This book is out of this world! There is so much information to help students and parents alike. I love how he wrote two books in one! In our household, we actually have a teenaged son going to college and a parent (me) going to school as well. So, truly this is a Blessing to me! I found the link to all the recommended schools of great interest! I checked out every single one of them. I just can't thank Lee Martinson enough for writing this book! I agree with what he says in here, there are so many factors to think about when choosing a school. Also, we aren't just educating our children, but shaping them for the future. I look forward to reading a revised list of the schools that he recommends. Also, checking further into scholarships for both my son and I. Thanks Lee Martinson for the great read!

Life…one word at a time
When I got this book, I expected potentially dry reading. The size is slightly cumbersome but once I got a handle I didn't want to stop. The author is straightforward and presents facts in a way that really made me think. I will be re-reading this with highlighter in hand, ready to plan some possibilities previously unknown to our family. In fact, I wish we'd had this when my husband was going to school a few years ago!

I was thrilled to get a chance to review this book!
We are in the home stretch of our homeschool adventure, with one graduating next year and the other just a year behind. This book couldn't have come at a better time.
I loved how the approach was NOT how to get your kids into school, but to first seek God's direction. He then shared his experiences in and out of college and how God directed him in sharing what he learned.
If you have highschoolers and your not sure if traditional college is that way to go, get yourself a copy of this book. You will truly be blessed.

Next year my daughter will be a Junior so A Heavenly College Education on an Earthly Budget is a timely read for me. Mr. Martinson discusses many issues that parents sometimes do not consider, such as "How will the teachings of worldly professors affect my child?" or "Is your child truly learning or merely receiving indoctrination?"
Mr. Martinson presents the case of why Christian children should attend Christian colleges. Although this large focus of the book, Mr. Martinson gives good advice that will apply to anyone. He discusses increasing financial aid, strategies for college admission and winning scholarships. This is a book that I will keep on my bookshelf to glean information and share with my daughter as she prepares for her college career.
